In a narrative as intense as it is brief, a moment of confusion sets in motion a complex chain of events which forces the reader to cross and recross the divide between fantasy and reality.

    I když by mě asi za "nedání plného počtu" klasikovi leckterý znalec ukamenoval, dávám přednost jeho staré tvorbě ... Některé "myšlenkové pochody"hlavní hrdinky mi jako ženě přišly strašně nerealistické...A to Kunderovo věčné opájení se odkazy na svou dřívější tvorbu může vzrušit opravdu jen literárního historika.
